Oregon Gold Trips, a partnership of seasoned miners, invites YOU to take a step back in time to the year 1859 when one of the RICHEST and most extensive mining districts in all of Oregon was found and staked. From that year until now, our properties have produced more than $10 million in GOLD NUGGETS and DUST. Large nuggets are found even today by our guests, and as the old saying goes, `Finders Keepers’ during our trips.

These properties are truly historical masterpieces as a leisurely walk through the grounds will reveal discarded relics from earlier mining endeavors. Flumes are left behind from the old hydraulic era. Also, a ancient water gates hand made from wood cut and milled on there is still standing. As one might expect, there is more than one sluice box that can be identified and in a state of deterioration.

We offer you the option of working on a operation which includes a backhoe and high-bankers or you may also choose to work alone with a small dredge or high-banker. The choice is entirely yours. We suggest you mine the ground recommended by one of the miners on staff, but you are entirely free to try your luck on a spot of your choosing as well. Either way, the ground normally produces some nice jewelry grade gold and an occasional nugget.
