Fun Placer gold mining is serious business, but trying your hand at gold panning in the creek is challenging fun and everyone who visits gets to try it. No guarantee is provided, you get to take your chances just like the old-timers — will you find the lucky strike or head home disappointed?

TO REALLY EXPERIENCE THE HISTORICAL QUEST FOR GOLD IN THE KLONDIKE A TRIP TO DAWSON CITY JUST WOULDN’T BE COMPLETE WITHOUT SEEING A GOLD MINE AND THEN FINDING GOLD USING THE OLDEST METHOD IN THE WORLD —– GOLD PANNING!

High Bank/In-stream sluicing:

Over the years we’ve been asked if there is anywhere to set-up a high banker or mini sluice and we’ve heard your pleas, brand new for 2006 season.

We have 69 placer gold claims along GoldBottom and Hunker creeks. This activity is intended for the more serious “hobby” miner and we have restrictions as to what we consider a “hobby” miner.

Remember that it’s not, finding the gold, it’s seeking the gold! We promise the setting is awesome, the adventure is real and the gold is a glorious bonus!
