Another Gold Rush is coming to El Dorado County September 11–18, 2016. The El Dorado County Fairgrounds will look like the gold rush that started in 1848 when James Marshall discovered gold in the tail races of his lumber mill, just a few miles away in Coloma, along the South Fork of the American River. Hundreds of competitors from around the world will join us for a week long competition to see who is the fastest panner. Open to the public and all ages are welcome to compete…hope to see you there!
